Moulds. Die-moulds. Stamps.
8th International Specialized Exhibition

The trade show ROSMOULD: Moulds. Die-moulds. Stamps. opened its doors to the public for the 8th time on June 18-20 in the grounds of the state-of-the-art ‘Crocus Expo’ International Exhibition Centre. The guests were welcomed by Prof. Vsevolod Abramov, Chairman of the Russian Union of Plastics Processors, Dr. Eberhard D?ring, Head of EUROMOLD Organizing Committee, and Dmitriy Sorokorenskiy, President of ROSMOULD Organizing Committee.  The event drew over 7 000 visitors and gave 261 companies from 25 countries a unique opportunity to establish valuable business contacts within the Russian professional community.

Leading Russian and overseas tooling manufacturers showcased their products at ROSMOULD 2013, to name a few: Russian Dies and Moulds Plant (Russia), Izhspecmash (Russia), Instrumsnab (Russia), Zenit-Himmash (Russia), AB Universal (Russia), Instel (Russia), Industrial Equipment (Russia), SatIZ (Russia), Promishlennie Technologii (Russia), HASCO (Germany), Fodesco (Finland), Neotronics (Taiwan), Staubli (Germany), Werkzeugbau Ruhla (Germany), SCHMOLZ+BICKENBACH (Germany), Zimmermann (Germany), Karel Kalip (Turkey), MTN Kalip (Turkey), Ningbo Haibo (China). Cutting edge technologies by western companies were brought to Russian audiences by their regional distributors: Vivtech, SIU System, LASSO-BALTEXIM, SHAPERS' RUS, EASTEX Technologies and many more.

The 8th edition of ROSMOULD was marked by a great geographic variety of participants and a sharp increase in international networking. Alongside the constant exhibitors from Germany, Great Britain and the USA, companies from the Netherlands, Denmark, Slovenia and Moldova made their debut appearance at ROSMOULD 2013. A considerable increase in the number of exhibitors from Italy, Turkey, India and Taiwan should be pointed out among the positive trends. Korea was highlighted as partner country of 2013 edition of ROSMOULD, presenting an extensive KODMIC (Korea Die & Mold Industry Cooperative) national pavilion of 9 major Korean tooling manufacturers.

As in previous years, Germany was represented at ROSMOULD by a sizeable EUROMOLD pavilion (Frankfurt am Main, Germany). Other partners from MOLD trade show network made a valuable contribution to the 8th edition of ROSMOULD: a solid Chinese participation was brought about by ASIAMOLD organizers (Guangzhou, China). The show was attended by a joint delegation from INTERMOLD trade show (Osaka, Japan) and JDMIA, Japanese Die and Mold Industry Association. The highlight of the visit was a round-table conference, organized by the Japanese toolmakers in order to discuss perspectives on Russian-Japanese partnership in automotive and tool-making fields with a number of major Russian enterprises.

‘The use of gas and tool springs in molds and dies’ seminar, co-hosted by STAMO (Russia), became a significant element of ROSMOULD business programme. The event won high acclaim, drew an enthusiastic audience and generated lively discussion.

The 2013 show followed the trend of the recent years, showing a steady increase in the number of 3D printer, 3D scanner and software developers on ROSMOULD exhibitor list, like Bee Pitron, Cybercom, Fabbers, SIU System, RP&D Center, RangeVision, Volume Technologies and more. The steady interest of the public is in itself an indicator of the high demand for modeling and prototyping technologies on the Russian industrial market.

When interviewed by the trade press, ROSMOULD exhibitors and visitors mentioned, above all, the highly coordinated work of the exhibition team, the excellent coverage of all relevant technological fields and a great diversity of exhibited items. According to exhibitors, ROSMOULD’s chief advantage is the overall technical competence of the visiting professionals: in fact, a great many of the visitors are buyers, who come to the trade fair with a set of technical specifications, in order to find a toolmaker for a particular project. The organizers are sure that ROSMOULD is and will remain a highly efficient meeting point for manufacturers and end users of mould technologies.

ROSMOULD Organizing Committee says a hearty thank you
to long-term partners, exhibitors and visitors
and hopes for new meeting:
